ABOUT US
The “Domaine de Kerantroad” is an old farm that became independent after the French Revolution in 1799, when national property was sold. It is located halfway between the town of Plonévez-Porzay and the white sandy beach of Saint-Anne-La-Palud.
The farm, covers 12,000m2 and since 2017 has been restored in the style of yesteryear. It has been enhanced by local Brittany stone and architecture.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
After several years of life in Paris, 5 years ago we put down our suitcases as a family in Brittany. From then on we started looking for the farmhouse project of our dreams. In 2016 we discovered the estate by chance. It was love at first sight and we knew that this place, steeped in history, halfway between the city and the beach, and surrounded by nature was where our project would take shape.
Passionate about travel and encounters, our philosophy of life is based on exchanges and cultural discovery. Therefore we have endeavoured to create an environment that is conducive to discovery but also to relaxation, after your long days of sport and/or culture. To do this the estate offers top of the range family friendly services that will delight young and old alike.
Our desire to break away from city life does not stop there. The estate also has several adorable residents who will be delighted to meet you. See who they are in the photo library.

THE PROPERTY
The property has a spa and an outdoor sauna located in the communal leisure area. It is possible to book this space for private use for 2 hours a day upon request. You can visit the animals at the property and, depending on the season, can participate in feeding and grooming the horses.
A pool table, table football, games arcade and projection room complete the facilities.
To get to the Domaine by train:
Stop at the train station in Quimper, then rent a car in Quimper and come to our place
Or
Take the bus to Plogonnec (line 37), rent your car at the Super U of Plogonnec, located at 10 minutes from the gîtes
Or
Take the bus to Plonevez Porzay (line 37) located 2km from the Domaine.
Rent your bikes from the ouibike website and have them delivered directly to the gîtes

- Discover the ocean at “Océanopolis” in Brest or visit Lorient, the “city of sailing”.
Take in the height of the Menez Hom. Culminating at 330 metres, at the edge of the Black Mountains, it dominates the bay of Brest and the bay of Douarnenez and offers a panorama of the region. It is also a starting point for many hiking trails and is popular with paragliders.
Visit the museum of living arts and old trades. Run by volunteers, in a friendly atmosphere, discover bygone trades and activities such as rope making, basket making, wood turning, wool and linen spinning and sea faring trades.
The museum is open to the public from April to October. Visit their website to discover the programme of events and to book tickets.

The first floor of the communal area can accommodate your workshops, team building or training. The ground floor offers you all the comfort you need for refreshments and can also be arranged for your company lunches or dinners.
Finally, weddings, family breaks and other events can be organised here, as the property is surrounded by suitable accommodation.
